The 14-Day Reset

Step Away. Stabilise. Begin Again.

A focused two-week residential programme for people who need help now but whose family, work or other responsibilities make a longer stay difficult. It combines medically supported detox where needed with a meaningful introduction to recovery at Foundations Bali.

When time away is limited

A shorter stay with a clear purpose

For lasting change, our first recommendation will always be the full Foundations residential programme of 30, 60 or 90 days. It gives you the time to move beyond stabilisation, understand the deeper patterns connected to addiction and experience the complete therapeutic, recovery and lifestyle programme.

We also understand that family responsibilities, work commitments and other circumstances can make a longer stay genuinely difficult right now. The 14-Day Reset creates a way to step out of the immediate cycle and begin receiving proper support without waiting for life to become less complicated.

Across two weeks, you can withdraw safely where detox is required, settle into the Foundations environment and begin the therapeutic and practical work of recovery. Before you leave, we will talk honestly about your progress and the support most likely to help you build on it.

What’s included

Support for the immediate problem and what comes next

The programme brings together safe stabilisation, structured recovery work and the practical support needed to begin thinking more clearly about life beyond alcohol or drugs.

01

Medical detox where needed

Your health, substance use and withdrawal risks are assessed before admission. Where suitable, the first stage includes an individual detox plan with medical oversight and round-the-clock support.

02

24-hour support

The Foundations team is onsite day and night, providing observation, reassurance and practical support as you stabilise and settle into treatment.

03

Individual support

One-to-one sessions give you space to talk honestly about what has been happening and begin identifying the patterns and pressures connected to your use.

04

Group and recovery work

Small supported groups, addiction education and practical workshops introduce tools for cravings, emotions, relationships and the early stages of change.

05

Movement and life in Bali

As you become physically able, movement, wellbeing and selected Bali experiences help restore energy, confidence and a sense that recovery can contain more than restriction.

06

A clear next-step plan

Before the two weeks end, the team will review your progress and explain the treatment or continuing support most likely to help you maintain it.

Where you'll stay

Private, comfortable and away from the pressure

Foundations offers a calm residential setting where you can step away from access to alcohol or drugs and focus fully on getting well. Every resident has a private, air-conditioned en-suite bedroom, with comfortable shared spaces, a pool and tropical gardens.

The programme remains small, allowing the team to know you properly and adapt support as your physical state, confidence and engagement change across the two weeks.

Arrival and assessment

01

Understand what you need

The team reviews your health, substance use, withdrawal risks and current circumstances, then confirms the safest plan for your first days.

Stabilisation

02

Stop with support around you

Where detox is needed, the priority is safe withdrawal, regular monitoring, nourishment and rest. Recovery support is introduced as you become able to engage.

Beginning the residential work

03

Look beyond the immediate cycle

As you stabilise, the focus expands into individual support, group work, addiction education, movement and practical tools for what has kept pulling you back.

Planning the next step

04

Decide with more clarity

Near the end of the programme, you and the team review your progress, risks and circumstances. You can extend your stay or leave with a clear recommendation for continuing support.

Daily life

Structure that meets you where you are

Your first days may centre on rest, medical support, meals and stabilisation. As you feel stronger, your day begins to include more of the residential programme: individual conversations, small groups, practical workshops, movement and time outside the treatment room. You are supported to participate without being pushed through a schedule your body or mind is not ready for.

Recovery support

Begin understanding what needs to change

The full residential programme provides the strongest opportunity for lasting change. Within two weeks, however, you can stop safely, begin thinking more clearly and start understanding the patterns that make it difficult to stay stopped. The work focuses on what is most useful now and what should happen next.

One-to-one counselling

Private support to begin exploring your use, circumstances and what you want life to look like from here.

Supported group work

Small groups help reduce isolation, build honest connection and introduce shared recovery learning.

Understanding addiction

Clear education helps you make sense of cravings, triggers, withdrawal and the cycle you have been caught in.

Practical recovery tools

Begin developing ways to respond to difficult emotions, high-risk situations and the urge to return to alcohol or drugs.

Wellbeing and regulation

Rest, nourishment, movement, breathwork and other supportive practices help your body and mind begin to settle.

Continuing care planning

Your final plan reflects your progress, remaining risks and whether extending residential treatment would give you a stronger foundation.

Know what you are committing to

You can ask about the two-week option without deciding on the call. We will explain suitability, timing, cost and what may be recommended afterwards.

Who is the 14-Day Reset designed for?

It is designed for people who need help with alcohol or drug use but whose family, work or other responsibilities make a longer stay difficult right now. A confidential assessment helps determine whether fourteen days at Foundations is clinically suitable for your needs.

Yes, medically supported detox is included where it is clinically required and Foundations is an appropriate setting. Withdrawal risks vary, so suitability must be assessed before admission. Some people may need hospital-level care or a different detox plan.

The full 30, 60 or 90-day residential programme remains our strongest recommendation because lasting change takes time. The 14-Day Reset can support withdrawal, stabilisation and the beginning of meaningful recovery work. Before you leave, we will discuss your progress and the next step we believe will give you the strongest chance of maintaining it.

Yes, subject to availability and clinical agreement. Once family, work or other practical arrangements have been addressed, you may choose to continue into the full residential programme. The amount already paid for the 14-Day Reset is credited towards the total cost.

The programme starts from USD $10,000. The team will explain exactly what is included and confirm the full cost before you decide. Eligible Australians may also be able to apply for early release of superannuation to fund treatment.

Before you leave, the team will review your progress, remaining risks and the support available to you. You may choose to extend into the full residential programme or leave with a personalised recommendation for treatment, aftercare or other continuing support.

No. You can commit to the initial fourteen days and decide later, based on your progress and the team’s recommendation. Any extension remains your decision and will be explained clearly before it is agreed.
