Life after rehab
The Life You Build Next Matters
Treatment gives you the space to change. The work at Foundations also prepares you to carry that change into ordinary life.
What comes next
Recovery Has to Work in Your Real Life
Residential treatment creates protected time to understand addiction, practise different responses and begin feeling like yourself again. Going home brings relationships, work, decisions and familiar pressures back into the picture.
We begin preparing for that while you are still at Foundations. The aim is a practical plan built around the life you are actually returning to, with support that can continue once you leave Bali.
Stronger foundations
What Helps Recovery Hold
Life after rehab will not be perfect or pressure-free. These are the foundations that help you respond differently when life becomes difficult.
01
A routine that supports you
Sleep, movement, meals, meetings and meaningful plans give recovery a shape that can hold when motivation changes.
02
A plan for difficult moments
Know your warning signs, what tends to pull you off course and exactly who you will contact when things feel less steady.
03
People who know the truth
Recovery becomes stronger when the right people understand what you need and you no longer have to manage everything alone.
04
Something to move towards
Work, family, health, creativity, travel and ordinary enjoyment can begin to feel possible again.
Back in real life
Trust Is Rebuilt in the Everyday Moments
People close to you may feel relieved, hopeful, cautious or exhausted. Recovery does not ask them to forget what has happened. Trust usually returns through time, honesty and behaviour that becomes consistent.
Treatment helps you understand the impact addiction has had, prepare for difficult conversations and set healthier boundaries. You leave with a clearer idea of what repair may require, without expecting one conversation to fix everything.
Your return plan
Specific Enough to Use When You Need It
A useful recovery plan goes further than promising yourself things will be different. It anticipates the situations most likely to test you and makes the next response clear before you are under pressure.
01
Where you will live and who will be around you
02
Work, money and responsibilities waiting at home
03
High-risk people, places and social situations
04
Meetings, counselling and professional support
05
Boundaries and conversations with family
06
Daily routines and goals that feel realistic
Continuing care
Support Can Continue in Different Ways
Some people feel ready to return home after residential treatment. Others benefit from a more gradual move into everyday life. We can help you choose the support that best fits your progress, circumstances and needs. Transitions and Aftercare are separate options, so either can be included in your plan without the other.
Optional support in Bali
Transitions Programme
For people who want a more gradual move from residential care, Transitions offers supported independent living in Bali. It creates space to practise recovery with greater freedom before returning home.
Remote support at home
Aftercare Programme
Aftercare is designed for clients returning home and does not depend on completing Transitions first. Your bespoke remote package may include counselling, programme coordinator check-ins and group sessions over Zoom.
