Website terms
Clear Terms for Using This Website
These terms apply when you visit the Foundations Bali website, use its content or contact us through it. Treatment is governed by a separate written agreement provided before admission.
Effective 14 August 2026
Foundations Bali
An enquiry is a conversation, not a commitment.
Submitting a form, calling or messaging us does not oblige you to enter treatment and does not create a client or clinician relationship.
01
About These Terms
This website is operated by PT Walden Mullin Retreat, trading as Foundations Bali, a private residential addiction recovery and rehabilitation service in Bali, Indonesia. “Foundations Bali”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to PT Walden Mullin Retreat.
By accessing or using foundationsbali.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website. These terms should be read with our Privacy Policy.
Website terms and treatment terms are different.
These terms govern the website and initial communications. If treatment is offered, the written proposal, consent documents, programme policies and client agreement supplied to you will govern that service. Where they differ from this page in relation to treatment, the signed treatment documents take priority.
02
Using This Website
You may use this website for lawful, personal and informational purposes. You agree that you will not:
- Use the website in a way that breaks applicable law or infringes another person’s rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its systems, accounts or data
- Introduce malware, malicious code or activity intended to disrupt or damage the website
- Scrape, copy or extract substantial website content using automated means without permission
- Impersonate another person or provide information you know to be false or misleading
- Use the website or its content to promote an unlawful, harmful or deceptive service
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our services, other users or confidential information.
03
Website Information
General information
Website content is provided for general information about addiction, mental health, treatment and Foundations Bali. It is not personal medical advice, a diagnosis or a substitute for assessment by an appropriately qualified professional.
No emergency service
This website and our general enquiry channels are not emergency or crisis services. If you or another person may be in immediate danger, at risk of self-harm or suicide, severely unwell, confused, experiencing acute psychosis or facing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department.
Accuracy and availability
We take reasonable care to keep published information useful and current. Treatment approaches, team availability, programme activities, prices, facilities and third-party services may change. We do not promise that every page will always be complete, current or free from errors, or that the website will remain continuously available.
Contact our admissions team for current information relevant to your circumstances before making a treatment, medical, travel or financial decision.
04
Enquiries, Assessment and Suitability
Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee admission, reserve a place or create a treatment relationship. Any preliminary comments are based on the information available at the time and may change following clinical or medical assessment.
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information relevant to safe assessment, including substance use, withdrawal history, physical and mental health, medication, recent treatment and immediate risks. Withholding or misrepresenting important information may affect whether Foundations can offer or safely continue treatment.
We may decide that Foundations is not the appropriate level or type of care. This can include situations requiring hospital treatment, acute psychiatric care, specialist medical services or another setting able to provide greater clinical support.
If you enquire for another adult, you must respect their privacy and have an appropriate basis for sharing their information. Admission generally requires the prospective client’s agreement and participation in assessment.
05
Treatment and Client Agreements
Before treatment begins, Foundations will provide written information relevant to the recommended programme. Depending on the service, this may include:
- The programme and proposed length of stay
- Fees, payment timing and included services
- Deposit, cancellation, refund and early-departure terms
- Clinical consent and information-sharing arrangements
- Medication, substance use, testing and safety requirements
- Residence expectations, personal property and acceptable conduct
- Privacy, communication, visitors and family involvement
- Circumstances in which treatment may be changed, paused or ended
You should read these documents carefully and ask questions before signing or paying. The individual agreement forms the contract for treatment and contains the terms specific to your admission.
Participation and outcomes
Recovery and treatment outcomes differ between people and depend on many factors beyond Foundations’ control. We will provide the agreed services with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot promise abstinence, recovery, a particular clinical result or that treatment will prevent relapse.
Programme changes
Care plans and schedules may be adjusted in response to clinical needs, safety, staffing, weather, availability or circumstances outside reasonable control. Activities shown on the website are examples and are not guaranteed for every client or every week.
06
Costs, Payment and Funding
Prices shown on this website are general published prices or starting prices and may change. Your recommended programme, total fee, inclusions, exclusions, currency, payment schedule and any additional charges will be confirmed in writing before you commit.
Flights, visas, travel insurance, personal spending and other services are excluded unless expressly included in your written proposal. Bank, card, currency-conversion and international-transfer fees may be charged by third parties and remain the payer’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise.
Cancellation and refund terms must be confirmed in writing.
The cancellation, rescheduling, refund, non-attendance and early-departure rules applying to a treatment booking will appear in the proposal or client agreement issued for that booking. The website does not replace those specific terms.
Australian superannuation
Information about accessing Australian superannuation is general information only. Eligibility and approval are determined by the relevant authorities and super fund. Foundations does not provide financial, tax or legal advice and does not guarantee release of funds.
07
Travel and Third-Party Services
You are responsible for holding a valid passport, appropriate visa, travel insurance and any other documents required to enter and remain in Indonesia. You should obtain current advice from the relevant authorities and disclose health or medication considerations where required.
Flights, insurers, payment providers, healthcare professionals, laboratories, hospitals, transport services, superannuation advisers and other external providers may operate independently from Foundations Bali. Their services are governed by their own terms. Where we introduce, coordinate or link to an external provider, this does not make us responsible for every act, omission, decision or service of that provider.
Links to external websites are supplied for convenience and information. We do not control their content, security, availability or privacy practices.
08
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website’s design, written content, photographs, graphics, branding, logos and other materials are owned by or licensed to Foundations Bali and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view, download or print reasonable extracts for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, sell, license, frame or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission, except where applicable law expressly allows it.
“Foundations Bali” and associated branding may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership or affiliation without written permission.
09
Responsibility and Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right, remedy, guarantee or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.
To the extent permitted by law, Foundations Bali is not liable for loss arising solely from:
- Reliance on general website content instead of obtaining individual professional advice
- Inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by a website user or prospective client
- Website interruption, technical problems, malicious third-party activity or events outside our reasonable control
- The content, availability or conduct of independent third-party websites and services
- Travel disruption, immigration decisions or failure to obtain appropriate documents or insurance
Any liability relating to treatment will be considered under the client agreement and applicable law, taking account of the services agreed and the circumstances involved. These terms do not limit responsibility for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot lawfully be limited.
10
Law, Changes and Contact
Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Subject to any mandatory consumer right or jurisdiction that applies, disputes relating to these terms or use of the website will be submitted to the competent courts of Indonesia.
Resolving concerns
If you have a concern, contact us first so we can understand the issue and try to resolve it directly. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent relief or using a right or dispute process available under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the website, our practices or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of the page identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means the revised website terms apply from publication.
Severability and waiver
If a provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in exercising a right does not waive that right.
